Meet the Mayor

The Burbank Model Congress Club hosted Mayor Nikki Perez at Burbank High School for a rare visit to the campus. Our members planned the event, coordinated with the Mayor to schedule the visit, and organized students and teachers to attend! It was a great experience for students who weren’t previously interested in government, as many of them learned about the realities of being Mayor, spoke with the Mayor personally, and created a fun moment around civics with friends and food!
